- What professional organization(s) of painting contractors do you belong to?
- Have you ever filed for bankruptcy for any company or organization in which you were an owner that did
painting or home remodeling?
Experience and Painting Process
- How many residential painting projects do you do a year?
- What percentage of your clients are homeowners?
- Will you provide a detailed breakdown of the painting process you will use on my project?
- Are you certified in Lead Safe Work Practices as required by Federal Law as of April 22, 2010 and will you
provide the appropriate proof? - Do you have a written policy regarding drugs and alcohol by your crews?
- What type of training do your crews receive?
- Do you hire part-time employees or subcontractors?
Service Before, During and After the Project
- How long is your warranty? And will you provide it in writing?
- Have you ever repainted or repaired a project that was out of warranty?
- How often do you meet with homeowner to review job progress?
- Do you provide a price guarantee
- How much of a deposit do you require when I sign your agreement?
- Do you accept credit cards?

clear he was extremely service oriented and

remove 13 year old wall paper in a very large
master math and then texture and paint. To
our amazement and despite icy weather
conditions his crew was always on time and
rarely took breaks. I work from home and they
were very quiet and kept everything neat and
tidy. They had completed the job a day early
and made sure we were completely satisfied
before leaving. I cannot say enough about the
